Shadow was pet store Border Collie puppy from a puppy mill. He was bought by a family and brought home at 8-weeks old. After about 6 weeks they gave him up to a shelter. A friend of ours then adopted him for her family.

Shadow was a cute little guy and was very smart. He quickly learned many commands in the first few days in his new family. But after a day or so, it started to become evident that Shadow had some problems.

Unfortunately, Shadow's life here on earth was not destined to be very long. Even knowing that, Shadow lived life to the fullest. He loved to ride in the car, go for walks, play ball and pack as much life into every day as possible. Our friend had to let him go and Shadow passed over to the Rainbow Bridge on June 7, 2001.
